Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE)

There is Statutory guidance outlining how organisations and individuals should work together to protect young people from sexual exploitation. This can be downloaded using the link shown below from the HM Government web site.

If a professional believes a child is at risk of CSE, having completed a SERAF, they should alert their manager who will consider if that child/young person is assessed to be at imminent risk and/or a crime has been committed.  They should immediately refer into Social Care via Care Connect on 01275 888 808 or after hours the Emergency Duty Team on 01454 615165.
